The formula

Most people believe money is a mystery. It is not. Every business that makes money, whatever its size, shows these three parts. Remove one and the result changes.

Value

Value gives people a reason to choose you. Without it, nothing is worth paying for.

Influence

Influence gives them a reason to notice you. People cannot buy what they do not know exists.

Management

Management gives your business the ability to grow. Without it, even the money you earn can quietly disappear.

What you will discover in the book

Whether you are an entrepreneur, freelancer, student, employee, creative, business owner, or someone searching for financial clarity, this book gives you practical principles you can apply immediately.

Why it is called

The Money Making Formula

Mathematics taught me that every answer has an equation. Life taught me that every result does too.

I did not choose this title because it sounded catchy. I chose it because I genuinely believe money is governed by principles, just as mathematics is governed by formulas.

I fell in love with mathematics as a boy, because my father, a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, never handed me answers. He explained the process until I understood why the answer was the answer. One lesson stayed with me: the left hand side must equal the right hand side. The equation never lies.

Later I saw that business, relationships, health and money all work the same way. Every result has a cause. When you understand the principles behind the result, money becomes far less mysterious. It becomes predictable.

MONEY MAKING FORMULA

Foreword

Over the years of working with entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners, and individuals seeking economic transformation, I have come to appreciate one important truth: people do not struggle only because they lack opportunities. More often than not, they struggle because they lack the understanding, structure, and principles required to turn opportunities into lasting success.

That is why I believe The Money Making Formula is a timely and valuable contribution.

MONEY MAKING FORMULA

Preface

Every book begins with a question.

This one began with a burden.

For years, I watched gifted, hardworking people struggle financially. They weren’t lazy. They weren’t unintelligent. Many were exceptionally talented.

The more I observed these patterns, the more convinced I became that success is not random.

Knowledge alone changes very little. Applied knowledge changes everything.

As you read this book, don’t rush through the pages. Pause. Reflect. Ask difficult questions.

MONEY MAKING FORMULA

My Journey with Business and Money

Let me tell you a little about myself.

The truth is, business did not start for me after graduation. It didn’t even start when I became a photographer.

It started when I was a child.

Around Primary 5 or Primary 6, I had already developed one strange habit—I liked making money.

Not because my parents couldn’t provide for me. Not because we were starving.

I was simply fascinated by the idea that someone could create something, solve a problem, and get paid for it.

MONEY MAKING FORMULA

My parents probably played a huge role in that. Both of them worked as civil servants. They were teachers. But they didn’t stop there. They also ran businesses on the side.

Growing up, I watched them balance both worlds. During the day, they taught in school. Outside work, they traded, bought, sold, and looked for ways to increase their income.

Without knowing it, I was receiving my first business lessons.

I learned that one source of income is good. But multiple sources of income are better.

I learned that your salary should not be the only thing feeding your dreams.

23

MONEY MAKING FORMULA

The real adventure began after I gained admission into the College of Education.

For the first time, I had freedom. And I used it.

I tried almost everything I could think of. I learned how to make liquid soap. I joined network marketing companies. I discovered I could draw, so I started making money as an artist. I became a Jumia sales agent.

Some businesses made money. Some barely survived. Some failed completely.

But do you know something funny?

I don’t regret any of them.
